ROYAL POTTERY-FROM ROYAL COPENHAGEN BY GRETHE MEYER

Líneas simples, shape perfecto, colores sobrios, el Minimalismo de la cerámica.
Digno de un arquitecto que dedico su vida a la arcilla.

Grethe (Meg) Meyer was one of Denmark's most well respected architects and designers. Although she dedicated herself to a career in architecture, she gained an international reputation for her glassware and ceramic designs. Her high-integrity household products can be seen as a material expression of the "cult of domesticity" common to Scandinavia and reflected Meyer's belief that "one should buy fewer items of better quality". She was awarded the Danish ID Prize in 1965 and the Scandinavian Industrial Art and
Design Award in 1973.
