Norwegian designer Sigurd Ressell, born in 1920, was a protegé of the prolific furniture-maker Niels Vodder. In 1958 Ressell won an award for his SR 600 design at the Copenhagen Cabinetmaker's Guild Exhibitions. The Falcon chair is his most famous and successful work. Produced for Norwegian furniture maker Vatne, the chair has been in production for more than 30 years. This early example of his most notable design presents a rare opportunity to own a true modern classic.
