Peter Huvit & Orla Molgaard diseñaron hace muchos años, en 1955 para la casa France & Son, una pieza que es una obra maestra. Se trata de un daybed comletamente desarmable, no solo para ser transportable, si no modificable, ya que esta pieza, se le pueden quitar los apoya brazos, se le puede eliminar el respaldo, y quedar como un diban de psiquiatra.

Peter Hvidt (1916-1986) og Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen (1907-1993) worked together between 1944 to 1975. In 1947 they designed the "AX" chair (manufactured by Fritz Hansen) which became the major icon of their career. The chair was the first Danish chair with a seat and back made of double curved laminated wood. The seat and back could be removed and packaged separately, basically dismantling the entire chair for easy shipping. The "AX" chair was built in several different variations, with and without armrests and with reversible leather upholstery instead of the wood seat. The two architects together designed not less than 256 furniture objects. Their firm Hvidt & Mølgaard still exists.
